Position Overview:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary team members to help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver skilled occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist patients with improving ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
  • Educate patients and caregivers to support carryover and long-term success.
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and facility staff for holistic care.
  • Track patient progress and report outcomes to supervising OT.
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program.
  • Active or license-eligible COTA license in Pennsylvania.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Mentorship and onboarding support available.
